K12 Haiti partners with local privately run schools to provide pay for teachers, and funding for textbook and technology initiatives. These benefits are obvious. What’s not so obvious is that when teacher’s salary costs are offset or even fully subsidized, discretionary money trickles down into food programs, drinking water, better facilities, more flexible tuition for families in need and even enables ambitious school administrators the ability to grow.

We began supporting our first school in 2018 and as of late 2021 we have 3 schools that we work to provide support to. Each school is contractually bound to use funds in ways that are agreed to. We provide in country support and compliance audits to give confidence that efforts to help don’t go to waste.
